Seven members of the JWL Interiors team have completed updated PASMA Towers for Users training, reinforcing our commitment to safe working practices across commercial fit-out, ceiling and partitioning projects.
What is PASMA training?
PASMA training provides practical instruction in the safe assembly, use, inspection and dismantling of mobile access towers.
Mobile towers are commonly required during the installation of suspended ceilings, MF ceilings, partitions, bulkheads and other high-level interior works. Correct training helps ensure that equipment is assembled and used safely and that work at height is properly planned.
Why does PASMA training matter on a fit-out project?
Commercial interior projects often involve teams working above floor level around lighting, ductwork, ceiling grids and building services.
Using trained operatives helps to:
- Reduce risks associated with working at height
- Ensure access towers are correctly assembled and inspected
- Support site-specific health and safety procedures

Ongoing training at JWL Interiors
Rather than waiting for qualifications to expire, we arrange refresher training in advance. This helps us maintain current competencies and minimise disruption to live project schedules.
Our latest course was completed by seven members of the team and covered the safe assembly, inspection, use and dismantling of mobile access towers.
The training was arranged on a Saturday so that the team could complete it without affecting weekday work on client sites.
